Competence Industry Manufacturing 4.0
Who we are
The Competence Industry Manufacturing 4.0 (CIM4.0) is one of the eight Italian Competence Centers, national reference poles on Industry 4.0 issues. CIM4.0 focuses its activities on the issues of the Digital Factory and metallic Additive Manufacturing. CIM4.0 is a consortium made up of 2 Universities – Turin Polytechnic and Turin University – and 23 companies, which together actively collaborate, through the coordination of center staff, and share personnel, skills and assets for the benefit of achieving the objectives of relaunching the sector through strategic and operational support for manufacturing companies.
MISSION
Through technology transfer, the transmission of skills and specializations linked to innovative production cycles and the definition and provision of highly qualifying training courses, CIM4.0 helps micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in projects with a high technological maturity that will allow the fabric Piedmontese and Italian manufacturing to increase its national and international competitiveness.

How can we help you
CIM4.0 is a reference center for everything related to technology transfer and the dissemination of skills or specializations related to technologically advanced production cycles and to 4.0 culture. It carries out its activities
through these actions:
- Sharing of a pilot line focused on metal additive manufacturing technologies
- Sharing a pilot line focused on digital technologies for the smart factory
- Provision of courses on Industry 4.0 technologies, through the CIM4.0 Learning Hub, aimed at the upskilling and reskilling of skills and the proposal of a training course dedicated to training managers of the
digital transformation (CIM4.0 Academy) - Granting of funding through innovation calls
