Who we are
For 160 years, the Politecnico di Torino has been one of the most prestigious Italian and international universities in training, research, technology transfer and services in all sectors of Architecture and ‘Engineering. The university is a reference point for training and research in Italy and Europe, as it attracts its approximately 35,500 students from over 100 countries and activates about 800 collaborations every year with industries, public and private institutions, local organizations.
MISSION
The Politecnico di Torino, while claiming the need for greater public investments in research, training and “third mission” activities, feels the responsibility of having to commit to supporting, with their skills and activities, the society, the economy and the policy-making of their country, so as to contribute to reversing the current stagnation and favoring the development of the significant and recognized potential of Italy.

Why we joined the CTE
The Politecnico has joined as a partner since the objective of the Program is in line with the Strategic Plan of the University “PoliTO 4 Impact”, in particular, due to the desire to implement experimentation, applied research and technology transfer, based on emerging technologies. Therefore, in light of the evolution of knowledge generation and transmission mechanisms, the University would like to become increasingly capable of innovation and change starting from within.
